MLS : Chicago Fire draw 2-2 with LA Galaxy
UNITED STATES, Aug. 24, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: The match between Chicago Fire and LA Galaxy ended in a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.
Chicago Fire players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Alvarez Arturo ('34) and Accam David ('39 on penalty) while LA Galaxy only scored once Zardes Gyasi ('31). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by LA Galaxy with a saving goal from Dos Santos Giovani in the 69th minute.
Los Angeles Galaxy remains in 6th place with 39 points from 25 games, one point behind Real Salt Lake.
