MLS : LA Galaxy beats Real Salt Lake 5-2
UNITED STATES, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After three straigth victories against Sporting Kansas City, Colorado Rapids and Vancouver Whitecaps, the Royals lost 5-2 against LA Galaxy.
Real Salt Lake opened the score in the score in the 16th minute thanks to Martinez Juan, before LA Galaxy regained the advantage with Zardes Gyasi ('19), Magee Mike ('26), Boateng Emmanuel ('41) and Dos Santos Giovani ('45). Leading 4-1 at the break, the Galaxy further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gerrard Steven in stoppage time.
Los Angeles Galaxy climbed to third place with 14 points from 7 games, 2 points behind Colorado Rapids.
