MLS : Columbus defeats Revolution 2-0

UNITED STATES, Sep. 25, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Columbus Crew. After their 1-4 win against Orlando City on September 17, the Black & Gold continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-0 victory over New England this Sunday.

Kamara Ola scored dual goals

Columbus Crew dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kamara Ola in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Black & Gold further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Kamara Ola on penalty with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.

New England Revolution are down in 14th place with 36 points from 31 games, one point behind DC United, which has a game in hand.
