MLS : Revolution defeats Kansas City 3-1

UNITED STATES, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 2-0 to Columbus Crew on September 25, the Revs bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City this Saturday.

New England dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kamara Kei in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Revs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ellis Kevin '75/own and Agudelo Juan '83).

Sporting Kansas City are down in 9th place with 43 points from 32 games, tie on points with DC United.
