MLS : Chicago Fire beats Revolution 2-1

UNITED STATES, Oct. 16, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against Columbus Crew on October 13, the Men in Red returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over New England this Sunday.

De Leeuw Michael opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing New England catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Fagundez Diego. 1-1 at half time. The Men in Red eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Accam David with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.

New England Revolution remains in 14th place with 39 points from 33 games, 3 points behind Philadelphia Union.
