MLS : Kansas City beats San Jose 2-1

UNITED STATES, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 3-3 draw against Houston Dynamo on September 18 and 2-2 draw against LA Galaxy on September 18, the Wizards returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over San Jose Earthquakes this Saturday.

Dwyer Dominic opened the score in the 7th minute, before seeing San Jose Earthquakes catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Dawkins Simon. 1-1 at half time. The Wizards eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Ellis Kevin with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Sporting Kansas City climbed to 8th place with 43 points from 31 games, 2 points behind Real Salt Lake.
