MLS : Montreal beats San Jose 3-1

CANADA, Sep. 28, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-3 to New England on September 24 and 1-0 to New York Red Bulls on September 24, the Impact bounced back with a 3-1 victory over San Jose Earthquakes this Wednesday.

Montreal Impact dominated the first half thanks to goals from Oduro Dominic ('22) and Piatti Ignacio ('32). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Impact further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Venegas Johan in stoppage time.

Montreal Impact climbed to 11st place with 41 points from 31 games, tie on points with Seattle Sounders FC, which has a game in hand.
