MLS : San Jose defeats Real Salt Lake 2-1

UNITED STATES, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-2 to Sporting Kansas City on September 28 and 3-1 to Montreal Impact on September 28, the Quakes returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Real Salt Lake this Saturday.

Dawkins Simon opened the score in the 34th minute, before seeing Real Salt Lake catch up in the 40th minute thanks to Glad Justen. 1-1 at half time. The Quakes eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Alashe Fatai in the 72nd minute.

Real Salt Lake remains in 7th place with 45 points from 32 games, 3 points behind Los Angeles Galaxy.
