MLS : Montreal defeats Philadelphia 5-1
CANADA, Jul. 23, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-3 to New York City on July 17, the Impact bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Philadelphia Union this Saturday.
Drogba Didier scored tripple goals
Montreal Impact dominated the first half thanks to goals from Drogba Didier ('19, '42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Impact further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Drogba Didier '52, Piatti Ignacio '87 and Mancosu Matteo '90).
Philadelphia Union remains in 6th place with 30 points from 21 games, one point behind Real Salt Lake.
