UNITED STATES, Sep. 28, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for DC United. After their 4-1 win against Orlando City on September 24, DCU continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 3-0 victory over Columbus Crew this Wednesday.
Columbus Crew made DC United doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Sam Lloyd ('71), Neagle Lamar ('86) and Saborio Alvaro ('90).
DC United remains in 13rd place with 40 points from 31 games, one point behind Montreal Impact and Portland Timbers.
