MLS : Kansas City and Portland play out 1-1 draw
UNITED STATES, Jul. 1, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Sporting Kansas City was held to a 1-1 draw by Portland Timbers on Saturday.
Portland Timbers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Valeri Diego in the 26th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sporting Kansas City with a saving goal from Salloi Daniel in the 60th minute.
Sporting Kansas City remains in fourth place with 31 points from 19 games, 2 points behind New York City FC, which has a game in hand.
