UNITED STATES, Jul. 6, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Sporting Kansas City was held to a 1-1 draw by Philadelphia Union on Thursday.

No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Rubio Diego ('49) for Sporting Kansas City, Alberg Roland ('69 on penalty) for Philadelphia Union.

Sporting Kansas City climbed to fourth place with 32 points from 20 games, only one point behind New York City FC, which has a game in hand.
