MLS : Philadelphia defeats Revolution 3-0

UNITED STATES, Jul. 2, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Philadelphia Union. After their 1-0 win against DC United on June 24, The U continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 3-0 victory over New England this Sunday.

Philadelphia Union dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sapong Charles in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, The U further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ilsinho Pereira '48 and Alberg Roland '78).

Philadelphia Union climbed to 13rd place with 22 points from 17 games, only one point behind New York Red Bulls.
