MLS : Red Bulls defeats Revolution 3-2

UNITED STATES, Jul. 5, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 0-2 to New York City on June 24, New York Red Bulls returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over New England this Wednesday.

New England had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Bunbury Teal ('21) and Nguyen Lee ('27), while the Red Bulls only scored once Wright-phillips Bradley ('23). Trailing 2-1 at half time, New York Red Bulls players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Royer Daniel '55 on penalty and Veron Gonzalo '90).

New York Red Bulls climbed to 12nd place with 26 points from 18 games, tie on points with San Jose Earthquakes.
