MLS : Red Bulls defeats San Jose 5-1

UNITED STATES, Jul. 19, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for New York Red Bulls. After their 2-3 win against New England on July 5, New York Red Bulls continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 5-1 victory over San Jose Earthquakes this Wednesday.

Royer Daniel scored dual goals

New York Red Bulls dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Davis Sean in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, New York Red Bulls players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Kljestan Sacha '73, Felipe Martins '75 and Royer Daniel '90, '90).

New York Red Bulls climbed to 8th place with 29 points from 19 games, tie on points with Houston Dynamo.
