MLS : Atlanta United beats San Jose 4-2

UNITED STATES, Jul. 4, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Three wins in a row for Atlanta United. After their success against Colorado Rapids and Columbus Crew, Five Stripes continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 4-2 victory over San Jose Earthquakes this Tuesday.

Martinez Josef scored dual goals

San Jose Earthquakes had started off well by taking the lead in the 2nd minute with a goal by Thompson Tommy. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Five Stripes nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Carmona Carlos '55, Martinez Josef '65, '89 and Walkes Anton '81).

Atlanta United FC climbed to 6th place with 30 points from 19 games, only one point behind Sporting Kansas City.
