UNITED STATES, Jul. 5, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Chicago Fire was held to a 2-2 draw by Portland Timbers on Wednesday.

One goal for both sides in the first half, Adi Fanendo ('24 on penalty) for Portland Timbers, Alvarez Arturo ('34) for Chicago Fire and one each in the second, Blanco Sebastian ('70) for Portland Timbers, Vincent Brandon ('61) for Chicago Fire.

Chicago Fire SC remains in first place with 38 points from 19 games, tie on points with runner-up Toronto FC.
