MLS : Chicago Fire defeats Vancouver 4-0
UNITED STATES, Jul. 1, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Four wins in a row for Chicago Fire. After their success against Atlanta United, New England and Orlando City, the Men in Red continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 4-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps this Saturday.
Nikolic Nemanja scored dual goals
Chicago Fire dominated the first half thanks to goals from Nikolic Nemanja ('14, '18) and Alvarez Arturo ('26). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Men in Red further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by De Leeuw Michael with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Chicago Fire SC climbed to first place with 37 points from 18 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Toronto FC.
