UNITED STATES, Jul. 29, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 0-3 to New York Red Bulls on July 22, Loons returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over DC United this Saturday.
Minnesota United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ramirez Christian ('8) and Danladi Abu ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, Loons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jeffrey Jared '58/own and Ibarra Miguel '90).
Minnesota United FC climbed to 20th place with 22 points from 22 games, only one point behind Los Angeles Galaxy, which has a game in hand.
