MLS : Toronto beats New York City 4-0

CANADA, Jul. 30, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against New York City on July 22 and 1-1 draw against Colorado Rapids on July 22, Toronto FC bounced back with a 4-0 victory over New York City this Sunday.

Giovinco Sebastian scored dual goals

Toronto FC dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Giovinco Sebastian in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toronto FC players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Giovinco Sebastian '67, Altidore Jozy '75/penalty and Edwards Raheem '82).

Toronto FC remains in first place with 43 points from 22 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Chicago Fire SC, which has a game in hand.
