MLS : New York City defeats Red Bulls 3-2
UNITED STATES, Aug. 6, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 4-0 to Toronto FC on July 30, NYCFC bounced back with a 3-2 victory over New York Red Bulls this Sunday.
Villa David scored tripple goals
Villa David opened the score in the 28th minute, before seeing New York Red Bulls catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Wright-phillips Bradley. 1-1 at half time. NYCFC eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Villa David ('72, '76 on penalty).
New York City FC remains in third place with 40 points from 23 games, one point behind Chicago Fire SC, which has a game in hand.
