MLS : San Jose beats Columbus 2-1
UNITED STATES, Aug. 5, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for San Jose Earthquakes. After their 1-0 win against Colorado Rapids on July 29, the Quakes continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew this Saturday.
San Jose Earthquakes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Urena Marco in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Quakes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wondolowski Chris in the 56th minute.
Columbus Crew SC are down in 10th place with 32 points from 24 games, 2 points behind Seattle Sounders FC, which has a game in hand.
