MLS : Columbus beats Chicago Fire 3-1

UNITED STATES, Aug. 12, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After a 4-1 victory over New England on August 5, the Men in Red lost 3-1 against Columbus Crew.

De Leeuw Michael opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Columbus Crew catch up in the 18th minute thanks to Manneh Kekuta. 1-1 at half time. The Black & Gold eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Meram Justin ('73) and Kamara Ola ('88 on penalty).

Chicago Fire SC are down in third place with 41 points from 23 games, 2 points behind New York City FC.
