MLS : Toronto beats Chicago Fire 3-1

UNITED STATES, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Toronto FC. After their 4-1 win against Portland Timbers on August 12, Toronto FC continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 3-1 victory over Chicago Fire this Saturday.

Toronto FC dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Delgado Marky in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toronto FC players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hasler Nicolas '63 and Giovinco Sebastian '90).

Toronto FC remains in first place with 50 points from 25 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up New York City FC, which has a game in hand.
