MLS : Columbus beats LA Galaxy 2-0
UNITED STATES, Aug. 23, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Orlando City on August 19, the Black & Gold returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over LA Galaxy this Wednesday.
Columbus Crew dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Kamara Ola in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Black & Gold further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Meram Justin seconds before the end of regulation.
Columbus Crew SC climbed to 7th place with 39 points from 27 games, only one point behind Portland Timbers.
