MLS : San Jose beats LA Galaxy 3-0
UNITED STATES, Aug. 27, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 4-0 to Real Salt Lake on August 23, the Quakes bounced back with a 3-0 victory over LA Galaxy this Sunday.
San Jose Earthquakes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Qazaishvili Valeri in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Quakes further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Urena Marco '80 and Wondolowski Chris '90).
San Jose Earthquakes climbed to 14th place with 36 points from 27 games, tie on points with Montreal Impact, which has two games in hand.
