MLS : Toronto beats San Jose 4-0

CANADA, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Five wins in a row for Toronto FC. After their success against Portland Timbers, Chicago Fire, Philadelphia Union and Montreal Impact, Toronto FC continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 4-0 victory over San Jose Earthquakes this Saturday.

Altidore Jozy scored dual goals

Toronto FC dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Vazquez Victor in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toronto FC players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Altidore Jozy '48, '64 and Osorio Jonathan '66).

Toronto FC remains in first place with 59 points from 28 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up New York City FC.
