MLS : Toronto beats Montreal 3-1

CANADA, Aug. 27, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Four wins in a row for Toronto FC. After their success against Portland Timbers, Chicago Fire and Philadelphia Union, Toronto FC continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 3-1 victory over Montreal Impact this Sunday.

Giovinco Sebastian scored dual goals

Toronto FC dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Giovinco Sebastian in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toronto FC players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Altidore Jozy '52 and Giovinco Sebastian '90).

Toronto FC remains in first place with 56 points from 27 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up New York City FC, which has a game in hand.
