UNITED STATES, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: 6 wins in a row for Toronto FC. After their success against Portland Timbers, Chicago Fire, Philadelphia Union, Montreal Impact and San Jose Earthquakes, Toronto FC continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 4-0 victory over LA Galaxy this Saturday.
Ricketts Tosaint scored dual goals
Toronto FC dominated the first half thanks to goals from Moor Drew ('24) and Ricketts Tosaint ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, Toronto FC players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ricketts Tosaint '76 and Vazquez Victor '78).
Toronto FC remains in first place with 62 points from 29 games, a 11-point lead over runner-up New York City FC.
