CANADA, Sep. 20, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After 6 straigth victories against Portland Timbers, Chicago Fire, Philadelphia Union, Montreal Impact, San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy, Toronto FC lost 5-3 against Montreal Impact.

Piatti Ignacio and Jackson-hamel Anthony scored dual goals

Montreal Impact dominated the first half thanks to goals from Piatti Ignacio ('10, '24) and Donadel Marco ('12). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Impact further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jackson-hamel Anthony '47, '51).

Toronto FC remains in first place with 62 points from 30 games, a 11-point lead over runner-up New York City FC, which has a game in hand.
