MLS : Atlanta United beats Montreal 2-0

UNITED STATES, Sep. 24, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Atlanta United. After their 4-0 win against LA Galaxy on September 20, Five Stripes continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-0 victory over Montreal Impact this Sunday.

Atlanta United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Villalba Hector in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Five Stripes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Larentowicz Jeffrey in the 73rd minute.

Atlanta United FC climbed to third place with 49 points from 29 games, 3 points behind New York City FC.
