MLS : Vancouver beats Orlando 2-1
UNITED STATES, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Seattle Sounders FC on August 23, the Caps bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Orlando City this Saturday.
Vancouver Whitecaps dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Redding Tommy in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Caps further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Shea Brek in the 53rd minute.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC climbed to 10th place with 38 points from 25 games, tie on points with Houston Dynamo.
