MLS : Vancouver and Seattle play to a 1-1 draw
CANADA, Aug. 23, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Seattle Sounders FC was held to a 1-1 draw by Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday.
Seattle Sounders FC players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Lodeiro Nicolas on penalty in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Vancouver Whitecaps with a saving goal from Montero Fredy in the 64th minute.
Seattle Sounders FC climbed to fourth place with 41 points from 26 games, tie on points with Chicago Fire SC, which has a game in hand.
