CANADA, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After a 3-0 victory over San Jose Earthquakes on August 12, the Dynamo lost 2-1 against Vancouver Whitecaps.

Vancouver Whitecaps dominated the first half thanks to goals from Montero Fredy ('17 on penalty) and Reyna Yordy ('32). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Caps further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.

Houston Dynamo are down in 6th place with 37 points from 25 games, one point behind New York Red Bulls, which has a game in hand.
