UNITED STATES, Aug. 27, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Seattle Sounders FC was held to a 1-1 draw by Portland Timbers on Sunday.

One goal for both sides in the first half, Roldan Christian ('18) for Seattle Sounders FC, Valeri Diego ('45 on penalty) for Portland Timbers and none in the second.

Seattle Sounders FC climbed to third place with 42 points from 27 games, 5 points behind New York City FC, which has a game in hand.
