MLS : Kansas City defeats Revolution 3-1

UNITED STATES, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Columbus Crew on September 10, the Wizards returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over New England this Saturday.

Rubio Diego scored dual goals

New England opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Bunbury Teal, before Sporting Kansas City regained the advantage with Fernandes Gerso ('16) and Rubio Diego ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Wizards further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Rubio Diego in the 57th minute.

Sporting Kansas City climbed to fifth place with 44 points from 28 games, only one point behind Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
