MLS : Columbus beats Red Bulls 3-2

UNITED STATES, Sep. 23, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Sporting Kansas City on September 16 and 2-2 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps on September 16, the Black & Gold bounced back with a 3-2 victory over New York Red Bulls this Saturday.

Mensah Jonathan opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing New York Red Bulls catch up in the 14th minute thanks to Wright-phillips Bradley. 1-1 at half time. The Black & Gold eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Meram Justin ('54) and Williams Josh ('66).

Columbus Crew SC climbed to fifth place with 47 points from 31 games, only one point behind Vancouver Whitecaps FC, which has two games in hand.
