MLS : Columbus defeats DC United 2-0

UNITED STATES, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Columbus Crew. After their 3-2 win against New York Red Bulls on September 23, the Black & Gold continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-0 victory over DC United this Saturday.

Columbus Crew dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Williams Josh in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Black & Gold further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Meram Justin in the 56th minute.

Columbus Crew SC climbed to 6th place with 50 points from 32 games, only one point behind Vancouver Whitecaps FC, which has a game in hand.
