UNITED STATES, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 3-0 to Seattle Sounders FC on September 27, the Caps returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City this Saturday.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Hurtado Erik in the 53rd minute.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC remains in fifth place with 51 points from 31 games, one point behind Chicago Fire SC.
