UNITED STATES, Sep. 27, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After a 2-1 victory over Colorado Rapids on September 23, the Caps lost 3-0 against Seattle Sounders FC.

Seattle Sounders FC dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rodriguez Victor in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rave Green further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lodeiro Nicolas '62 and Dempsey Clint '69).

Vancouver Whitecaps FC remains in fifth place with 48 points from 30 games, 3 points behind Chicago Fire SC.
