MLS : Philadelphia beats Seattle 2-0

UNITED STATES, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 3-0 to Atlanta United on September 27, The U bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC this Sunday.

Philadelphia Union dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Epps Marcus in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, The U further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alberg Roland with one minute left in regular time.

Seattle Sounders FC remains in 8th place with 47 points from 32 games, tie on points with Sporting Kansas City, which has two games in hand.
