MLS : Red Bulls beats DC United 2-1

UNITED STATES, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After their 0-0 draw against Atlanta United on October 15, New York Red Bulls bounced back with a 2-1 victory over DC United this Sunday.

DC United had started off well by taking the lead in the 44th minute with a goal by Arriola Paul. Trailing 1-0 at half time, New York Red Bulls players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Murillo Michael '68 and Veron Gonzalo '75).

New York Red Bulls climbed to 10th place with 50 points from 34 games, tie on points with Houston Dynamo.
