MANAUS, Aug. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Rio 2016 : Japan tied 2-2 with Colombia (halftime: 0-0), in a Olympics group stage game on Sunday night at the Arena da Amazonia in Manaus.
No goals in the first half and two each in the second, Asano ('67) and Nakajima ('74) for Japan, Gutiérrez ('59) and Fujiharu ('65 own) for Colombia.
The result put the Colombians second in Group B with 2 points. Japan is third with one point. In their last game, Colombia will meet group leaders Nigeria at the Arena da Amazonia on August 10, while Japan will face Sweden.
