ENGLAND, Aug. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 2: After losing 0-1 to Tottenham on August 16, the Hammers bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace this Saturday.
West Ham dominated the first half thanks to goals from Zárate ('34) and Downing ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Hammers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cole in the 62nd minute.
West Ham United climbed to fifth place with 3 points from 2 games, tie on points with Manchester City FC, which has a game in hand.
