Premier League (Week 10) : Sunderland defeats Crystal Palace 3-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 3, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 10: After losing 8-0 to Southampton on October 25 and 0-2 to Arsenal on October 25, the Rokerites returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace this Monday.
Steven Fletcher scored dual goals
Sunderland dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Scottish forward Steven Fletcher in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rokerites further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Gómez '79 and Fletcher '90).
Sunderland climbed to 15th place with 11 points from 10 games, tie on points with Hull City.
