Premier League (Week 17) : Chelsea beats Stoke City 2-0
ENGLAND, Dec. 22, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Chelsea. After their 2-0 win against Hull on December 13, the Blues continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Stoke City this Monday.
Chelsea dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender John Terry in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fàbregas in the 78th minute.
Chelsea remains in first place with 42 points from 17 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Manchester City FC.
