Premier League (Week 24) : Chelsea beats Aston Villa 2-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Manchester City on January 31, the Blues returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa this Saturday.
Chelsea dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ivanović in the 66th minute.
Chelsea remains in first place with 56 points from 24 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up Manchester City FC.
