Premier League (Week 23) : Arsenal defeats Aston Villa 5-0
ENGLAND, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 23: Three wins in a row for Arsenal. After their success against Stoke City and Manchester City, the Gunners continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 5-0 victory over Aston Villa this Sunday.
Arsenal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Olivier Giroud in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gunners further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Özil '56, Walcott '63, Cazorla '75/penalty and Bellerín '90).
Arsenal remains in fifth place with 42 points from 23 games, tie on points with Southampton, which has a game in hand.
