Premier League (Week 33) : Stoke City beats Southampton 2-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 33: After their 1-1 draw against West Ham on April 11, Stoke City bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Southampton this Saturday.
Southampton had started off well by taking the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal by French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Stoke City players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Diouf '47 and Adam '84).
Southampton climbed to 6th place with 56 points from 33 games, only one point behind Liverpool, which has a game in hand.
