Premier League (Week 33) : Tottenham beats Newcastle 3-1
ENGLAND, Apr. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 33: After losing 0-1 to Aston Villa on April 11, the Spurs returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Newcastle this Sunday.
Tottenham dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Belgian midfielder Nacer Chadli in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Spurs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Eriksen '53 and Kane '90).
Tottenham Hotspur remains in 6th place with 57 points from 33 games, tie on points with Liverpool, which has a game in hand.
